Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public broad access to many court and public records, but the correct custodian depends on the record. In Caribou County, District Court and the Magistrate Division share the courthouse at 159 South Main Street in Soda Springs. The unified clerk's office handles district court clerk duties, recording, marriage licenses, jury commissioner work, and other county clerk functions. The Sheriff and Jail are at 475 East 2nd South for custody-related questions. Statewide resources such as the Idaho iCourt Portal, ICAR 32 judicial-record rules, and Idaho Code §§ 74-102 through 74-104 also shape what a person can inspect or request.

- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
